Cho Gao Function terms and conditions
In order to ensure the success of your function we ask you to read the following guidelines carefully.
Deposit
A deposit of 20% with a minimum $200 is required to be paid 14 days from confirmation of your booking (unless otherwise specified)
Duration of function
All function bookings are for duration of 2 hours unless previously agreed by the function manager.
Guaranteed numbers
The Restaurant will be informed of changes in number of attendees for event catering no later than 48 hours prior to the event.
Cancellations
Cancellations more than 7 days prior to the function will receive a full refund of deposit.
Cancellations within 7 days of the function will forfeit the deposit.
Payment
Full function payment must be received no later than the day of the function. The payment can be made by cash, credit card, eftpos or company cheque (on approval).
Minors
All underage guests must be under the strict supervision of a parent or guardian and must remain within the designated function area. Underage guests must not consume alcohol, and if are found to be doing so, will be asked to leave immediately. Please note all underage guests must exit the premise by 9pm.
Menu
If you or any members of your group have any food sensitivities or allergies please advise management prior to ordering. All groups of 10 people or more are required to order a set menu on Thursday, Friday & Saturday night.
Damage
The client is financially responsible for any loss sustained to the venue including damage to the premises, its fittings, equipment and grounds. The organizers of the function are also responsible for damage caused by their guests, outside contractors or agents, prior to, during or after the event,
Loss of property
Cho Gao will not accept any responsibility for any damage or loss of property left on the premises prior, during, or after the function. This responsibility lies solely with the client.
Security
Cho Gao reserves the right without liability to exclude or manage patrons who breach any policies or legal responsibilities whilst on or prior to entering our venue. We also provide such personnel to ensure your safety and first aid needs are ensured. Some functions may require Security; this will be advised when making the booking.
Responsible serving of alcohol
All Cho Gao staff are trained in the liquor licensing accredited responsible service of alcohol and by law may refuse to serve alcohol to any person that is deemed to be intoxicated and may request that they vacate the premises.
Prices
Prices will be confirmed in writing along with final function details. Every Endeavour is made to maintain prices as printed, but these may be subjected to increase at management’s discretion to meet rising costs.
Dress code
Smart, neat casual at all times to enter the venue; however dress standards are to be appropriate to the requirements of the function.
Payment of your deposit is accepted as an agreement to these terms and conditions
